Some helpful software info...

I have had many questions about what software I use to merge appliques and fonts and I wanted to let everyone know that I use Sew What Pro.

You can find info about Sew What Pro at http://www.sandscomputing.com/

They have a trial version that last 30 days that is FREE! And if you like it you can purchase the software for only $65 bucks! It is very user friendly and a very resonable price! Please let me know if you have any other questions! Thanks!

Getting Beach Ready!!

Made a few things to take to the beach with us...FIRST up was Emery's tutu swimsuit I got at Target on clearance last year! I put her monogram on it using the Sunny Font but you can't really see it here...will have to post a pic from the beach!

This adorable fishing patch came from Applique Market. I merged the M on using the Whoa Nelly Font from 8 Paws and a Claw.
This adorable blowfish came from Applique Market as well! I just love this design!! I paired it with a little skirt I got on clearance at Target last year too! The tank is from Walmart for a mere $2!! Cute outfit for just a few bucks!! Can't beat that!

Brother/Sister beach shirts! This font is from Embroidery Boutique! I just love how these turned out! These bags were given to be a while back. They came from the Target dollar zone for $2.50 a piece. I threw an E on Emery's bag using the Curlz Font and a M on Max's using the Whoa Nelly Font. These were their bags to put toys in for the trip!

And Lastly their beach towels!!! I got both towels at Kohls for 11.99 I think. I know they were originally 19.99 and they were on sale!

Emery's name is monogrammed on using the Carmen Font from 8 Paws and a Claw.

I actually had Max's ready for his bday party but just now and posting a pic of it!

I monogrammed his name in capital letters using the Scooter Font from Jolson's Designs.

I think I could have made a few more outfits if I would have just had the time....

random sewing...

Haven't been as productive as I would like the past three weeks but have gotten a few things done here and there. This little dress I picked up at Target and threw a little "E" on there in the Sunny Font.

This is a white polo that I merged Max's initials on using the Jolson's font from Jolson's designs. I made this to go with some shorts he already had for his 3 yr photo shoot.
I also made these shorts for his 3 yr photo shoot. I love this little plaid fabric. I actually altered a pant pattern again to make his shorts. They turned out so good and fit him like a charm!

The next two things I made for my friend's little girl McKenzie for her 6th bday present! She is all about peace signs and asked me to make her one. So I made this one from Planet Applique. I used the zigzag stitch. Thought it turned out pretty cute!

And the other shirt I did for her is one of my new FAVORITES!! I love how it turned out. It is a raggy flower from Applique Market. Super cute and super easy!!

Now to do a few things for our beach trip!! Hopefully will have more to post soon!

Max's BDay Shirt

Max had a Sports Birthday Party so to stay with the theme I made him this adorable shirt!! I just love how it turned out! The design is from Planet Applique and I merged in his name using the Tipsy Topsy font from Applique Frenzy!

The 3 is on the back using the applique font Cade from Embroidery Boutique! Max of course loved that he had a number 3 on his back like a sports jersey!!
And of course I had to coordinate it with his swim trucks since we were having a sports party with a water slide!!

a little of this and that

Haven't really done too much in the last month or so...just a few things here and there.

Made this for a friend (will remain nameless). This was a shirt I digitized a while back. Same one I made for Max when we told the news to everyone.

I LOVE this little number I put together for Emery! The little octopus is from Applique Cafe. It is super cute!! The skirt is from Kohls.

Made this little onesie as a surprise for one of my friends. She was taking her little girl to the beach for the first time! The design can be found on SWAK. It is all embroidery.

And another "sports" shirt for my son Max. He has been wanting a golf one with a hole and a flag. The design is from Applique Cafe and I merged in the 8 (his faborite number) using the Millie font from Jolson's designs.

These two crosses were put on tees for Max's end of the year teacher gifts! I LOVE this little cross from Applique Cafe. If you look really close I took the pink cross off of the machine before it was finished. Oops! The heart didn't get the final stitches but it is still cute none the less!

And lastly a little strawberry outfit for my little Emery! I found this fabric on etsy and snatched it up. I made her a little skirt out of it and then tried to match up the fabrics to make a strawberry applique on the t-shirt. The applique is from Applique Cafe (I am sure you can't tell she is probably my favorite site) and I merged in the E using the Sunny font from I don't know where...LOL

I have actually done a few more things but I just realized I didn't take pics of them :( I made some monogrammed towels for my niece's graduation gift and a Spiderman bday shirt for my son's friend Cooper!

summer outfits for emery....

Working on Emery's outfits too!!

This is the raggy cross from Embroidery Boutique! One of my favorite designs as it is quick, easy, and super cute! I paired it with a cute little skirt I picked up at Kohls!
Two cute little onesies that I paired up with a little skirt from Target. The dragonfly is a easy quick design from Applique Momma. Using Sew What Pro I actually tilted the dragon fly design and merged in emery's name using the Digs My Heart Font from Jolson's Designs.

The "e" shirt is the petal patch from Embroidery Boutique (I deleted the middle patch), merged in the Cheri Applique Font "e" also from Embroidery Boutique and merged her name using Itty Bitty Font from 8 Claws & a Paw.

This cute little shirt is from Kohls and I put the simple little flower from Applique Cafe on it and merged in her monogram using the Tinker Toy Font from 8 Claws & a Paw. I actually made this shirt to go with some little cotton pants.

Another one of my favorites. This little popsicle design is from Embroidery Boutique. The shirt and shorts are from Walmart! I bought an extra pair and made the popsicle to match! Love how it turned out! This is actually too big for Emery now but she will be able to wear in a month or so!

And this cute little number is from Remember Nguygen. I got it while I was on bedrest for like 15 bucks I think. Super cute!! I embroidered the "E" using the Sunny Font (not sure where it is from).

I have so many more things in the works for sweet little Emery!! I think someone is going to have to tell me to STOP making cute clothes for my kids because I may just go a little overboard this summer!! Ha!

pirate birthday shirt

A birthday shirt for a little boy that is turning 5!! He is of course having a Pirate party!! This cute design is from Applique Cafe and I merged in the 5 and the name using the Tipsy font from Applique Frenzy!

baby gifts

Been working on some baby gifts for friends lately and having a lot of fun with it!! The first ensemble was a baby gift for my friend Natalie! I love this little football design from Applique Alley. It is actually a patch design that I just deleted the patch part and merged in the name using the Whoa Nelly Font. The T applique is from Etsy and I merged in the font with Tipsy Font from Applique Frenzy!

This second one was for my friend Tracy! The gown I used the scallop patch from Embroidery Boutique and just deleted the inner patch. The monogram is KK Monogram Font from 8 Paws and a Claw. The bloomers I used the Curlz font from Jolson's Designs and the bib design I can't remember where that is from.
And the rest of the pictures were for a friend Monica who's best friend was having a baby. She brought me some stuff and told me to do my thing! So I did!!

I think it turned out pretty stinking cute!

This little sailboat is one of my new favorites. I merged in the little monogram which I think made it super cute!! This little sailboat is from Planet Applique.

And I LOVE this little alligator too! This sweet applique is from Lynnie Pinnie!

And I just thought this one turned out pretty cute too! The applique letter is from the Landon applique font from Planet Applique and I merged the name in using Whoa Nelly Font from 8 Paws and a Claw.

So fun to make baby stuff!!
