Some helpful software info...

I have had many questions about what software I use to merge appliques and fonts and I wanted to let everyone know that I use Sew What Pro.

You can find info about Sew What Pro at http://www.sandscomputing.com/

They have a trial version that last 30 days that is FREE! And if you like it you can purchase the software for only $65 bucks! It is very user friendly and a very resonable price! Please let me know if you have any other questions! Thanks!

summer outfits for emery....

Working on Emery's outfits too!!

This is the raggy cross from Embroidery Boutique! One of my favorite designs as it is quick, easy, and super cute! I paired it with a cute little skirt I picked up at Kohls!
Two cute little onesies that I paired up with a little skirt from Target. The dragonfly is a easy quick design from Applique Momma. Using Sew What Pro I actually tilted the dragon fly design and merged in emery's name using the Digs My Heart Font from Jolson's Designs.

The "e" shirt is the petal patch from Embroidery Boutique (I deleted the middle patch), merged in the Cheri Applique Font "e" also from Embroidery Boutique and merged her name using Itty Bitty Font from 8 Claws & a Paw.

This cute little shirt is from Kohls and I put the simple little flower from Applique Cafe on it and merged in her monogram using the Tinker Toy Font from 8 Claws & a Paw. I actually made this shirt to go with some little cotton pants.

Another one of my favorites. This little popsicle design is from Embroidery Boutique. The shirt and shorts are from Walmart! I bought an extra pair and made the popsicle to match! Love how it turned out! This is actually too big for Emery now but she will be able to wear in a month or so!

And this cute little number is from Remember Nguygen. I got it while I was on bedrest for like 15 bucks I think. Super cute!! I embroidered the "E" using the Sunny Font (not sure where it is from).

I have so many more things in the works for sweet little Emery!! I think someone is going to have to tell me to STOP making cute clothes for my kids because I may just go a little overboard this summer!! Ha!

pirate birthday shirt

A birthday shirt for a little boy that is turning 5!! He is of course having a Pirate party!! This cute design is from Applique Cafe and I merged in the 5 and the name using the Tipsy font from Applique Frenzy!

baby gifts

Been working on some baby gifts for friends lately and having a lot of fun with it!! The first ensemble was a baby gift for my friend Natalie! I love this little football design from Applique Alley. It is actually a patch design that I just deleted the patch part and merged in the name using the Whoa Nelly Font. The T applique is from Etsy and I merged in the font with Tipsy Font from Applique Frenzy!

This second one was for my friend Tracy! The gown I used the scallop patch from Embroidery Boutique and just deleted the inner patch. The monogram is KK Monogram Font from 8 Paws and a Claw. The bloomers I used the Curlz font from Jolson's Designs and the bib design I can't remember where that is from.
And the rest of the pictures were for a friend Monica who's best friend was having a baby. She brought me some stuff and told me to do my thing! So I did!!

I think it turned out pretty stinking cute!

This little sailboat is one of my new favorites. I merged in the little monogram which I think made it super cute!! This little sailboat is from Planet Applique.

And I LOVE this little alligator too! This sweet applique is from Lynnie Pinnie!

And I just thought this one turned out pretty cute too! The applique letter is from the Landon applique font from Planet Applique and I merged the name in using Whoa Nelly Font from 8 Paws and a Claw.

So fun to make baby stuff!!

little bunny foo foo

Nothing like making the Easter outfits the week before.....

Got this adorable design from Applique Momma on sale for $2!
And here is there Easter Outfits!! I just LOVE them!!!

This was my first go at girls shorts. I actually altered a pant pattern I have and made these. I wasn't too happy with the ruffles on Emery's but hey it's my first time...maybe I will get the hang of if after a few more pairs....

The design is from Applique Cafe and once again I merged the kids names in. The font is Grins and Giggles from Applique Frenzy. One of my new fav fonts!! I made Emery's a little more girly by making a bow for her bunny!! I actually pinned it on so that I can remove it when I wash it.

I also got Emery's basket liner made today! Wahoo!! I am telling ya...nothing like waiting till the last minute.... The font is a font called Sunny and I am not sure where it is from....

I was so excited when I ran into Walmart the other day and they had the same basket I got Max 2 years ago!! It is the little things that excite me....LOL

This little liner for Max was one of my first things I made back when I first got my machine....talk about bringing back some memories. It really feels like yesterday when I started doing embroidery and it has been over 2 years!! Crazy how time flies!!!

working on max's summer wardrobe....

Been working on Max's summer wardrobe lately....It has been a lot of fun this year because Max has been picking out designs he wants!! Of course most of them are sports related! LOL

Max has been asking for a basketball shirt with a hoop and I finally found this cute design at Digi Stitches. I think it was maybe on sale for $4...can't remember but I know I got it on sale. I then merged his name in with the Architect font from GG designs! Probably one of my favorite fonts for boys!

One complete outfit! Wahoo! This design is from Applique Cafe and I merged in the M which is Jolson Font from Jolsons Designs. I got the shorts at Target for like $5 bucks and the t-shirt is Monag which I ordered wholesale from a friend a while back. These shirts run big but they are so soft and comfy! I would like to get some more!
Just a fun play t-shirt to throw with some gym shorts! This cute design is from Applique Cafe and it is super easy! T-shirt is from Walmart $3.50!

One of my favorites for this year! The shorts are garanimals from Walmart for $3.50 and so is the t-shirt. I had to rip stitch off the pocket but you can't even tell (got this idea from some fellow embroiders). Anyways, I bought a larger size of shorts to use for the applique and wala you have a cute outfit for like $14 bucks! You can't beat that when you would pay probably $50 or more in a boutique! Okay...so back to the design...This baseball is from Embroidery Boutique and I merged it onto a square patch from Applique Frenzy.

Two more of my favorites!! This adorable football design is from Applique cafe! I merged in Max's name in the Tipsy font from Monogram Wizard! Thanks to my friend Candice for letting me come over and digitize some names and monograms a while back. Check her out at http://www.mysewsweetboutique.blogspot.com/ She has some awesome talent and I love seeing all the things she makes!!

I got these shorts at Walmart too! Both of the t-shirts are also Monag. The sailboat design is from Applique Cafe and I merged in Max's name with the Millie font from Jolson's Designs! You can get great fonts at Jolson's for only $4 a font!!!

There is so many more things I would like to make Max for the summer!! I love that I can just make his summer wardrobe and not have to spend tons of money on outfits!! So much fun!!
