Some helpful software info...

I have had many questions about what software I use to merge appliques and fonts and I wanted to let everyone know that I use Sew What Pro.

You can find info about Sew What Pro at http://www.sandscomputing.com/

They have a trial version that last 30 days that is FREE! And if you like it you can purchase the software for only $65 bucks! It is very user friendly and a very resonable price! Please let me know if you have any other questions! Thanks!

sports

I have been trying to make a few things here and there this past week. I got some really cute shirts made for my son Max and his buddy Cooper!! Cooper is loving some golf right now so I thought it was only appropriate to make his a little golf shirt! This cute design is from Applique Cafe and I used the Jolson $3 dollar font Jolson Font to merge his monogram on the ball!! Love how it turned out!
Made this cute soccer ball shirt for both of the boys! This design is from Applique Cafe too! It was simple to make and I love it!!!

And lastly a football one for Max! This cute design is from Applique Alley! You can really do so many different things with this design! I like having a little patch behind the football to make it a little different than ones I have made in the past! Too cute!!

Now....on to some Christmas stuff!! Hope to post again this week with lots of cute Christmas stuff for my kiddos!!

name shirt

Made this cute name shirt for Max last night. It took all of about 30min to make! I love when they are quick and easy....especially right now as my life is a little hectic!

This cute applique font is the Cade font from Embroidery Boutique! This was my first time using it and I LOVE IT! I actually used the zig zag stitch but there are other stitches to choose from!

I tried to get my little model to smile but this was the best I could do....it was early this morning when I tried to get a pic....he is NOT a morning person...LOL

turkey time!

I finally got around to making Max and Emery's Turkey shirts!!
I love how they turned out! This turkey design is from Applique Cafe! Simple and cute!!
And thanks to my friend Candice for letting me merge some names in her Monogram Wizard! I just love this Tipsy font!

I also made Miss Emery a Turkey day bib!! This design is from Planet Applique. It took a little while to make but was still pretty simple!

Made this turkey shirt for a friend of mine son over a month ago! I thought it turned out cute too! I love it on the green shirt!

I really can't believe that Thanksgiving is only 2 weeks away! This year is really going TOO FAST!!!

halloween costumes!

I had a lot of FUN making the kids Halloween costumes this year! Little Miss Emery was a cheerleader (to cheer her brother on of course!) and Max was a basketball player (since he is slightly obsessed with basketball!)
I made her tutu from a tutorial I found on YouTube and then altered it to make it the size and length I needed for a baby. It was super easy and very quick to make! I know I will be making more in the near future!! It was also very CHEAP to make!!
This cute megaphone design is from Applique Cafe! I love the raggy pom-poms! I added the Go Tigers using my merging software Sew What Pro!

Here is Max's Bball outfit! I got the sweatsuit at Target for $14 bucks! It had a car design on the front that I covered up with the basketball! I think the whole outfit turned out so cute and the great thing is he can keep wearing it!

The basketball design is from Planet Applique. Again I used my merging software to add the 2 and Max to the basketball.

If you notice Max's treat basket I took a basketball and cut the top off of it! I then put tiny holes in the side and put some ribbon through it and wala he had a basketball treat basket! I think we had more compliments on the basketball then anything else! I got the basketball at Walmart for $4 bucks!

Our precious little models! It isn't very easy getting a picture of a 2 year old and a 2 month old! Ha! These are the best I can do!

Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!
