Some helpful software info...

I have had many questions about what software I use to merge appliques and fonts and I wanted to let everyone know that I use Sew What Pro.

You can find info about Sew What Pro at http://www.sandscomputing.com/

They have a trial version that last 30 days that is FREE! And if you like it you can purchase the software for only $65 bucks! It is very user friendly and a very resonable price! Please let me know if you have any other questions! Thanks!

a little of this and that...

Had a few different orders over the past month or so...First up was a swimsuit that I monogrammed initials on. Not sure what the monogram font is called or where it came from....sorry....
This is a little pillowcase dress that my friend Samantha brought me and she decided she wanted this adorable bird on a branch applique from Planet Applique!! This turned out so sweet!! Just love it!!
Samantha also brought me this to put her daughter Vera Kate's initials on as her birthday outfit!!
And this one too!! Vera Kate has a double name and a middle name so I got creative and made her initials on this dress. LOVE LOVE how it turned out!!
Another one for Samantha!! This little flower applique is from Planet Applique. I made it to match a cute little green tutu Samantha had picked up at Gymboree!!
And last one for Samantha...she wanted hers and his monogrammed pillowcases!! I so LOVE how these turned out and will totally be doing something similar for my bed ;)

Lastly, a little outfit for my son Max. He has been asking for a shark shirt. These shorts are some shorts I made him last year for Easter and they still fit!! Yay!! So I decided to make the shark out of the same fabric so they would match!! The shark applique came from Sew Many Designs. Super cute!!

back to SCHOOL

Emery and Max's back to school outfits!!
First off the white shirt I used for Emery's outfit I am in LOVE with! I got this through a website called Blanks Boutique! It is totally affordable and great quality!! Can't wait to get some of her long sleeve shirts for the fall!! Okay...so back to the applique. I got this design through a conference so it was special that no one else can get but Applique Cafe made it and she has a similar one on her website. I merged in Emery's name using the Love Letters font from Jolson's Designs. Made the skirt using a pattern I got off of You Can Make This. Com. It is a super simple pattern and will definitely be making more of these for the fall!!

Max is getting older so I just did something simple for him. This zig zag football can be found at Applique Cafe! Shirt is from Walmart and shorts from Target!
Added bonus...their outfits coordinated!! So so cute!!
My little cuties!!

frogs and snails...

Made these cute little outfits for my kids for school! Max class name is the Funny Frogs!! So thought he needed a little frog shirt for school!
The applique is from Bunny Cup Embroidery. I merged in Max's name using the Cleopatra font from 8 Claws and a Paw!
Emery's class is the Silly Snails!! So of course she needed a snail shirt for school too!
This little snail applique came from Applique Cafe!! Just love it!! I made it to match her little green polka dot skirt I made a while back because she LOVES to wear it!! She asks to wear her alligator outfit everyday!! Ha!

skating birthday shirt!

A skating BIRTHDAY shirt!! I used the skate applique from Applique Cafe and merged in the number 7 and her name using the _____(I can't remember the name) font from 8 Paws and a Claw! Final touch was a homemade little bow to pin at the top of the skate for the laces!! Super cute!!

cowboy birthday shirt!

A little cowboy birthday shirt that I threw together for my friend Monica's son Palmer!! I actually used the yonder applique font from Planet Applique and merged in the applique cowboy hat from Applique Cafe. Then I merged in his name using the Whoa Nelly font from 8 Paws and a Claw! Love how it turned out!! Here's hoping the birthday boy loves it just as much!
