Some helpful software info...

I have had many questions about what software I use to merge appliques and fonts and I wanted to let everyone know that I use Sew What Pro.

You can find info about Sew What Pro at http://www.sandscomputing.com/

They have a trial version that last 30 days that is FREE! And if you like it you can purchase the software for only $65 bucks! It is very user friendly and a very resonable price! Please let me know if you have any other questions! Thanks!

Ashley's Order...

This order was done a while back too!! It was a very fun order!! My friend Ashley brought me blank shirts and pants and told me to do whatever I wanted!! Seriously!! So much fun!!
First outfit was for her daughter Kate! I had the matching fabric so I made her a name shirt. I used the Anna Kate zig zag applique font from Applique Momma!

Second outfit was a slight challenge. I couldn't find any fabric to remotely match at first. I finally found some light blue cord that I used to go with some other fabrics that matched the pants. This raggy flower applique can be found at Applique Market!! This turned out to be one of Ashley's FAVORITE outfits I made!!
Next up...some Christmas shirts for her twin girls!! One loves pink and the other loves purple! A cute little tree design from Stitch on Time worked out perfect!!
Christmas shirt for her son Reed!! You can find this applique at Applique Cafe!!
Another slight challenge with this next outfit...they don't make the fabric to match these pants anymore. However, I did find something very similar to try and match it up!! You can find this football design at Applique Cafe!!
A birthday shirt for the BIRTHDAY boy!! Simple and cute!! The applique number 2 from the Aiden font from Planet Applique and I merged in his name using the Tipsy font from Applique Frenzy!
This next outfit turned out pretty cute!! You can't really tell from the pic but the bottom of the pants are red seersucker so I used that same fabric for the part of the rocket. This design came from Applique Market. I did delete one of the steps at the end so the rocket would look similar to the one on the pants.
And last one was this cute train applique from Embroidery Boutique!! I happened to have the exact navy cord to match the pants she brought me!! Love it when that happens!!
And LOVE when I give all the things over and I have one HAPPY customer!! Thanks Ashley for this FUN order! Hope your kiddos are loving them just as much as you did!!

Christmas Outfits!!

Christmas outfits for my kids!!
I LOVED how this one turned out!! I actually picked up these pants from a lady recently going out of business and the shirt too for that matter. Then I found this applique on Etsy to match the pants. So stinking cute and even cuter on my little princess!! The applique came from Pick and Stitch. She has other appliques to match this Michael Miller fabric too!! Check her out!!
Emery's Christmas Dress!! I scored this dress from Remember Nguyen and I embroidered the trees from Embroidery Boutique. I actually skipped the steps to add the star and ornaments and just did a simple green tree. Then I merged in the E using Curly Monogram font. I honestly have no idea where this font came from but it is super cute!!

I also made the kids some fun Santa shirts!! Max's shirt I used a new font I got called New Times Roman font from My Glam Boutique.  Love the classic look of it!! Then I merged in the mini applique hat from Applique Cafe!!
Emery's name I embroidered using the Delightful font from G G Designs and did the same hat from Applique Cafe!! Super easy and cute!! Max's blank shirt was from Walmart and Emery's was a Monag lettuce edge shirt.
I also made Max a "I Believe" shirt found in Christmas in the Valley post.
And lastly I made this little get up!! The skirt I made using some Ann Kelle Christmas ornament fabric and some Michael Miller Ta Dot fabric. Then I made her shirt to simi match. The ornament design is from Applique Alley and I merged in the E using the Curlz font from Jolson's Designs. The blank shirt I got from Old Navy.

Holly's Order...

These are from a while back...just getting around to posting them...
My friend Holly wanted some things for her precious kids!! She brought me all the shirts and pants and told me pretty much what she wanted ;)
Noah's shirt is an applique from Embroidery Boutique and I merged in his name using the Whoa Nelly font from 8 Claws and a Paw. The scallop applique is also from Embroidery Boutique. I used the zig zag stitch and merged in the E using the Curlz font from Jolson's Designs.
Sweet little embroidery dots from G G Designs and merged in the E using the Dollhouse font from The Itch 2 Stitch!
Just a simple Curlz E from Jolson's Designs.
And lastly a monogram font from Etsy. The shop is called Zoey's Designs and I think this one was Monogram Font 1.

Shirts for Christmas in the Valley!

Like I said I have been busy these last few weeks!! Tracy and I also made some shirts to have at sale. We tried to do simple designs that were cute!!
First design is a layered Christmas tree applique from Applique Momma. I did the zigzag option. Love love how this turned out!!
Next...a little raggy pumpkin applique design from Embroidery Boutique!
The zigzag football design again :) This is from Applique Cafe.

Both the football goal and football with grass below are from Applique Cafe!! All boy designs!!

This cute little turkey has been POPULAR!! The design came from Applique Momma and I used the zigzag option for most of my shirts!

The snowman applique and santa came from Embroidery Boutique!!
And lastly this little reindeer applique. I found him at Stitch on Time. He is pretty cute but both the Santa and Reindeer were a little time comsuming so I didn't make but one of each of these for the show.
There were a few more designs that I did...will have to add them to this post asap.
As for people wanting to know where I got my blank shirts. A lot of them are actually from Walmart. Garanimals brand t-shirts. Some I got from Monag. And a few others are from Target.

Towels for Christmas in the Valley!

Been VERY BUSY lately!! My good friend Tracy asked me to help her out with a little craft show that she was participating in. I said SURE!! So we decided to have towels for sale at the show so we got busy making these!! First up is an applique from Applique Market!!
This pumpkin applique is from Applique Market as well. However, using Sew What Pro I deleted the scallop patch that was with the design! So cute!
This little zigzag turkey applique is from Applique Momma! This was everyone's favorite as this little guy SOLD OUT at the show!!
The raggy ornament applique is from Applique Cafe!
The christmas tree applique is from Embroidery Boutique....
as well as this zigzag cross design below!!
I think we ended up making almost 80 towels for the sale!! So much fun!!

ho ho ho

Finally got Max and Emery's Santa shirts done...just in time for our Santa visit! Check out my family blog to see a hilarious pic of my two kids with Santa!

Emery's applique design is from Applique Corner. The beard is actually ribbon. Not my favorite design to make (only because the ribbon part is time consuming) but it turns out so stinking cute!
Max's applique is from Embroidery Boutique. I have actually made this one before so it wasn't too challenging! Loving this time of year! Hope to get a few more things made soon!

a raggy ornament

Loving how this turned out!! I actually snagged these pants up from a neighbor that was selling them! I think I got them for about 5 bucks! When I was out looking for fabric one day I found the matching fabric at Hobby Lobby! I was so excited!!

So what to make was the next thing....I decided on a raggy ornament! It is super simple and super cute! You can find this design at Applique Cafe! I layered some red cord behind it and added a little green bow to the top! Like I said simple and cute!
Can't beat it...I got the pants for 5 bucks, the shirt on clearance last year for 2 bucks and the quarter fabric for 1.50. Less than 10 bucks for an outfit! Yay!!

O Christmas Tree....

Loving this cute little tree!! I got this design from Applique Market! It definitely is a little time consuming as you have to pick your ribbons and place them accordingly. You end up with 5 different rows of ribbon but I think it is totally worth it in the end!! So cute and so fun to see your finished product!
