You can find info about Sew What Pro at http://www.sandscomputing.com/

They have a trial version that last 30 days that is FREE! And if you like it you can purchase the software for only $65 bucks! It is very user friendly and a very resonable price! Please let me know if you have any other questions! Thanks!

big, big, big, and lil

A good friend of mine is finally having a lil girl!!! I was so delighted to make these shirts for her when she asked!! How much fun is that to have 3 sweet little boys and now to add a little princess to the mix!!

It took a little while for her to decide on a design but I think we hit it head on when we did!! I used the Cade zig zag applique font from Embroidery Boutique for the big and merged in the brother using the Tipsy Topsy font from Applique Frenzy!
For the lil princess I used the Cheri vintage applique font from Embroidery Boutique and merged in the sister using the Tipsy Topsy font so they could be somewhat similar.

Can't wait to see a picture of her sweet family wearing these!! Less than 2 weeks away!! Praying for you dear friend!!

strawberry birthday girl!

So my daughter just had her first birthday and I wanted to come up with some cute things to go with her Strawberry Birthday Party! First up...a party hat!! The 1 is from Anna Kate Applique font from Applique Momma and I merged in birthday girl using the Grasshopper Font from Applique Frenzy. Glued the material to the hat and added some green fuzzy stuff and there you have it!

The official party tee!! Here I used the same 1 from the Anna Kate font, a strawberry applique from Applique Cafe and merged in her name using the Grasshopper font.
The bloomers are the same design I used on the party hat. I made some bows and pinned them on the bottom so I could use them on other things!

The tutu was super easy too! I got the rolls of tulle from Hobby Lobby. I used elastic as my base part and sewed it together. Put on the tulle alternating with green, red, white, and pink. Then added some ribbon for just a little extra cuteness :)

The complete look!!!
And her bloomers!!
I love how it all turned out! I mean I am a little partial but I think she looked so adorable!!!

name shirt!

I whipped this up the night before Emery's one year photo shoot with our friend Julie (117 photography). I had some water shots of Max in his name shirt and shorts I made him so I decided I wanted something similar for Emery! I really didn't have time for shorts and ruffles so I went with a skirt.

I LOVE how the name turned out. It wasn't the easiest thing to do since I was putting a 5x7 hoop sideways in a 12month tee but it turned out super cute! I used the anna kate applique font from Applique Momma. I did layer the letters some so that they would fit in the 5x7 area and I made them a bit smaller.
Here's a close up! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!

play ball!

So FIRST I have to admit a friend of mine Melissa purchased a shirt for her son with this design on it and I just had to go and find it! I was so EXCITED when I found it for sale at Applique Market!

I merged in the Max's name using the Millie Font from Jolson's Designs and I just LOVE how it turned out!! Super cute!

a few things for Emery...

Most of these were done a while back and I am just now getting around to posting....

The butterfly design is from Applique Cafe. The shirt and shorts are from Walmart. I purchased a bigger size to cut up for the applique. I just LOVE me some matchy matchy!! LOL

Another little shirt and short outfit from Walmart. I just threw on a little cherry applique from Applique Cafe and wala it turns a dull outfit to super cute!
This scallop patch is also from Applique Cafe. I merged in my daughter's monogram using the Strawberry Font from 8 Paws and a Claw. I got the skirt from Target a while back to make something for 4th of July but I never got around to it :( So I thought I would make this little onesie to go with it for the beach. Emery looked so cute in it! Love me some navy and green!

Just some bloomers with the "E" from the Sunny Font!
I got this dress from Remember Nguyen a while back for 11 or 12 bucks and recently put her monogram on it using the Monogram 1 Font from 8 Paws and a Claw.

I actually bought this off of a friend of mine a while back (she was getting ready for consignment) and monogrammed the "E" on there using the Sunny Font (if you can't tell that is one of my favorite "E" monogram for my daughter).

Another dress I got at Remember Nguyen a while back for like 12 bucks. Monogrammed the "E" using the Happy Holidays Font from 8 Paws and a Claw.

for a friend...

A friend of mine brought me three pairs of shorts for me to make shirts to go with. She told me what designs she wanted and told me to make them cute! I was so nervous because I went out on the search for fabric to match but couldn't find anything. So I just had to coordinate fabrics which made me extremely nervous but I think they all turned out pretty cute! The first design is a bird from GG Designs which is one of my favorites and I merged in Presley's name using the Grins and Giggles font from Applique Frenzy.

The next design is a scallop patch that I have no idea where I got it from and I merged in the P using the Sunny font (or Dollhouse) from Itch to Stitch.
And lastly the little teapot design from Applique Cafe. I merged in the P using the Curlz font from 8 Claws and a Paw.

I was so excited when I gave them to my friend and she LOVED them all! Like I said I was extremely nervous since they aren't all matchy matchy. LOL

Getting Beach Ready!!

Made a few things to take to the beach with us...FIRST up was Emery's tutu swimsuit I got at Target on clearance last year! I put her monogram on it using the Sunny Font but you can't really see it here...will have to post a pic from the beach!

This adorable fishing patch came from Applique Market. I merged the M on using the Whoa Nelly Font from 8 Paws and a Claw.
This adorable blowfish came from Applique Market as well! I just love this design!! I paired it with a little skirt I got on clearance at Target last year too! The tank is from Walmart for a mere $2!! Cute outfit for just a few bucks!! Can't beat that!

Brother/Sister beach shirts! This font is from Embroidery Boutique! I just love how these turned out! These bags were given to be a while back. They came from the Target dollar zone for $2.50 a piece. I threw an E on Emery's bag using the Curlz Font and a M on Max's using the Whoa Nelly Font. These were their bags to put toys in for the trip!

And Lastly their beach towels!!! I got both towels at Kohls for 11.99 I think. I know they were originally 19.99 and they were on sale!

Emery's name is monogrammed on using the Carmen Font from 8 Paws and a Claw.

I actually had Max's ready for his bday party but just now and posting a pic of it!

I monogrammed his name in capital letters using the Scooter Font from Jolson's Designs.

I think I could have made a few more outfits if I would have just had the time....
