Some helpful software info...

I have had many questions about what software I use to merge appliques and fonts and I wanted to let everyone know that I use Sew What Pro.

You can find info about Sew What Pro at http://www.sandscomputing.com/

They have a trial version that last 30 days that is FREE! And if you like it you can purchase the software for only $65 bucks! It is very user friendly and a very resonable price! Please let me know if you have any other questions! Thanks!

the itsy bitsy spider

Here are a few spider shirts I made for this Halloween season!
This design is from Planet Applique except I deleted one of the spiders and added a name in its place! Got to LOVE Sew What Pro! You can really do all kinds of things with this software! I think it turned out sooo cute!!

These spiders are from Applique Cafe! I love how simple and easy they are!

Close ups of the spiders! I added a little bow to Emery's spider so it would be a little more girly!

I had some cute pictures of the kids in their spider shirts together but I LOST my camera at Priddy Farms Saturday so I will not be able to post any pictures I took from there! So sad! Wish I could get those pictures somehow....

pumpkins and ghosts!

Here are Max and Emery's pumpkin patch outfits!! I just LOVE how they turned out! I haven't tried the dress on Emery yet...only because I am scared it won't fit! I used a 0-3month dress in her closet and made a pattern from it! I could not find an a-line pattern out there anywhere so I just made my own! Let's hope it fits!!! LOL
My friend Heather emailed me and asked me to make something cute for her son and her nephew! I love it when others tell you to do whatever you want! So I came up with these little ghosts shirts! I thought they turned out super cute as well! Simple and Cute! Love it!

It's Been a While!

Well, I am slowly getting back into the sewing world!
Our newest model, Emery was born August 27th at 5:55pm weighing 7lbs 5oz and 19in!
Big Brother Max was so excited!
Life with a 2 yr old and a newborn has been a BIG adjustment but we are loving every minute of it! I have to say we are truly blessed! God is so good!
Emery will be 6 weeks old on Friday! I can't believe how fast the time is going! We are slowly but surely getting adjusted so I thought it was time to start sewing again! It just makes me feel so good that I can make fun creative things for my kids and of course for others! With that being said I am not ready to take on alot of orders from friends just yet...maybe after the holidays I will be back in full swing!

and a few more things for miss emery!

So, I have been able to make a few more things for Emery! This little blanket I got from Babytime for like 12 dollars!! There is NO way I could have made this blanket for that price! So soft and sweet! Thought it just had to have her name on it!
A few more burp cloths! I now have 5 for her but would like to make a few more! I am pretty sure you can't have enough of these things!!! Used the heat and bond on the ribbon this time and it turned out so much better!

Here are a few little newborn onesies I picked up at Walmart for $2 bucks a piece! Added a little name or initial and wala you have a super cute little onesie!

Now...to get started on some fall things for both my kids!!! I think that is going to have to wait until after Miss Emery gets here and we all get adjusted! Only 6 more days until baby girl arrives....well, that is unless she decides to come earlier!

big brother and lil sister outfits!

Here are Max and Emery's outfits for the hospital! I finally got enough energy to get upstairs and sew Max some shorts to match the t-shirt I appliqued! I think they turned out pretty cute!
Close up of big brother applique!

Close up of lil sister applique!

I love these plaid fabrics! I am sure I will make Max and Emery another coordinating outfit in these cute fabrics next summer! Oh the plans I have for matching brother and sister outfits...

baby gown and cap!

Just a sweet little matching gown and cap for Miss Emery! Ordered both the gown and cap from the monag website. Not sure if the cap is going to fit because it looks rather big. I still have to wash it so hopefully I can shrink it some! I love the little gown though. It has pink trim around all the edges which I think adds a little girly touch!

babies, birthdays, and beaches!

Making a few things for friends here and there now that I am almost 34 weeks! Only 4 more days!! Wahoo! That means no more bedrest!! Yea!!
These two onesies are for baby gifts! Sweet little babies are being born everywhere!!!

This bib is for a friend of mines whose son is turning 1 soon!! I made the bib to match her theme of colorful polka dots! Super cute!!!

And this was a birthday gift for a sweet little boy Noah! I couldn't resist posting this because it turned out so cute!

Here is a close up! My friend Amy actually gave this towel to me to monogram for her to give. She had the brilliant idea to but his name between the fish at the bottom!! So freaking cute!
